Your Horizon provides a number of services to our clients, ranging from highly practical to socially fulfilling. Our aim with all services is to provide holistic care for the individuals and their families.

Personal Care

We provide services related to hygeine and grooming for our clients such as assisted showering, grooming, using toilets, administering medication, putting on clothes and more.

Household Tasks

We can also help with household chores that can help maintain the home for clients and their families. Some typical activities include washing dishes, dusting, vaccuuming, mopping yardwork and lifting items.

Community Access

We can provide assisted outings for our clients, which can foster their sense of indepence and provided much needed rest for family. A support worker can be present while shopping, at social outings or doctors appointements.

Companionship

Sometimes what a client really desires is companionship. While we aim to be friendly in all our interactions, we're also happy to sit with clients and talk about whatever is going on in their life.


Please Note: We are not accredited counsellors, but all support workers have a Certificate III in a care-related field.
